This is not even a concern (at least in the United States and Hong Kong) as younger Cantonese speaking groups embrace the African-American form of Hip Hop (and R&B/pop) to express their ideas in Cantonese.
There is a huge rise in interest of speaking Cantonese by not only speaking Cantonese, but speaking it quickly in the fashion of Hip Hop.
The issue are the older generations resistance to newer forms of expression.
There is a great song by Keung To called "Master Class" that addresses this issue, but good luck getting anyone in actual power to listen to it.
